Hello World!

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

It's kind of funny really: I have had the idea to start a blog for some time now and while coming rather instantly, striking me suddenly and almost shamefully, it finally hit me - like hey, I'm 18! Some people say this will be one of the most memorable eras of my entire life, and though I can not say I necessarily agree so far, with the change happening now that I am officially an adult, who knows!

So basically, here I am! ... finally. And despite feeling rather inundated while sorting through how all of this actually works (because admittingly, I feel aimlessly confused and indecisive, changing my background design at least 15 times!), and after coming to terms with my motives - my love of writing.... just this alone, yes writing is enough - I figured, it's as good a time as any if ever I should start one.

And during the course of writing on here, I plan to stick to my own self-assigned evil plan blogging schedule. Once a week/month is the desirable plan in mind, but for the demand of divided time elsewhere, as I so fondly deem even the call of fictional absorption a 'demand', we'll see how that goes.

.... I'm the stereotypical American, I know.

And speaking of fictional absorption, don't ever go there, not unless you have a get-in-and-out pass, permitting an absolute escape, because I do not use the word 'absorption' very lightly! (Stargate Atlantis is without doubt prone to paralyze for the duration of the show... same with SG1 and many others, definitely best watched sparingly!)

Oh, and hi by the way... it seems I forgot that part. It's a silly thing to say, but I almost feel like I am talking to myself and while it is likely I have at least an audience of one, if any, similar is the likelihood of this changing and becoming two or three or perhaps as I hope, an assembly of many!  This is outstanding: I can write something and millions of people can possibly read it! Millions! Actually, now that I think about it, this particular fact is sounding a bit intimidating! ... but nevermind to that.  Aside from the convenient power at hand to write like thoughts are endless (or maybe they are(?)... a mind can only race at the thought... and perhaps forever!), and of course, meeting you(!), the short and probably most essential reason - my initial "umph" - for creating this blog is simply because I wanted to; I mean, who could refuse the opportunity to have a personal island on the Internet.... or coming from my fantasy infected mind, a place in space (;

I want to express the endless (indeed, endless) parade of thoughts crowding the still unknown places of my mind and the feelings and desires of my heart, meaning only that the inevitable discoveries are sure to be adventurous among the dull and mundane, coming to life with my prayer of it being a lasting awareness, reforming and positively affecting your life as it does mine. And I mean this especially in regard to Jesus Christ and securing a more complete awareness of him, as I have been thinking plenty about this lately and desiring it greatly. It just seems strange anyways to have something so powerful inside of me and yet hardly know a fraction of what this power is and not to mention what it is capable of!

I would like to also say, next to Jesus first being my primary concern, that math, for all its glory, is a unique form of misery and is therefore dreadfully painful; the invention of stickers is not a very brilliant idea after all; misspelling 'finger' for 'figure' is an unfixable mistake; gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free etc, isn't necessarily "healthy;" owning fish is an over-rated experience and 'people watching' can make you an amateur social scientist!

How ?

..... stick around and you shall see! (:

I believe it is true: thoughts are endless. If we could only see each individual thought as a single wave, clashing in an ocean of many and causing a roar, we would realize that we all have our own personal hurricane. And with affect to that which is on land, no such hurricane will have hope of making an impact if it doesn't have a shore to land on. I dedicate this blog to being that shoreline and I hope our tides will cross and meet somewhere in the middle, creating an even larger wave - the ultimate why this blog exists ( and I promise, that is my last 'reason' why).

With that said, I dub thee blog of the 21 century, holder to such various sailing adventures!

Later I will do a more formal introduction. Here, my location on planet earth is nearing midnight hours and any forced attempt at describing myself would be most pitiful -  the precise image I should hope not to bear, especially to you dear reader who I must somehow convince to stay!

I welcome you to follow my blog. I am thrilled by this opportunity and tonight have thought of little else but to fill it with wonderful things in the days to come! And things of absolute variety. What joy!

For now it's good night, and God Bless,

Hannah

  1. I don't usually comment on blogs and don't usually like them. I like yours because it is new and just beginning which is the best and only time I read any blogs. I will share you with the friends in my circle.
    Good luck, Hannah!

  2. It's funny, my comparative lack of experience and lower rep have actually helped me! I was concerned those two factors would actually be a big hindrance! Thank you for taking the time to comment and thank you also for sharing my blog!

  3. Hi Raygen! I took the liberty to hop on over to your little island on the Internet and enjoyed your writing (sometimes my yard ornaments get a little face adjustment when I'm angry too!). I very much appreciate your comment. You are an encouragement - looks like you are already a motivational speaker! (;

  4. I'm with your other commentor, great introduction. I was noticing your post about attracting millions, but in case you never do, one thing that is just as cool is to go to your stats and see how many countries actually read your blog.

    This is coming from someone who has no follows on hers, but it's still getting seen around the world which, Praise the Lord, is amazing. Especially, if one wants to promote the name of Jesus Christ.

    I mean, as soon as I saw you mention Him, this did it for me and I was like "YYEESSS!!!!" inside. Sorry. :P

    I definitely want to follow your blog and look forward to hearing more about your life, and God, hopefully.

    God Bless, Jesus Love, Live, Saves, Sister!
